Gold Medals Galore in UK Intermediate Maths Challenge
A record total of 26 medals were won in this year's UK Intermediate Maths Challenge with five of them being gold.
With over 200,000 students taking part in this competition nationally, we were delighted with our haul of five golds, 13 silvers and eight bronze medals. In addition, four pupils achieved such impressive scores that they now go through to follow up rounds for the most able mathematicians across Europe.
Gold medal winners were:
- Rohan Khosla in Year 11 who also won the 'Best in School' Award. Rohan now proceeds to the Pink Kangaroo European Challenge
- Zhengxiang Lu in Year 10 who also won 'Best in Year 10' and now proceeds to the Hamilton European Challenge
- Jay Waller in Year 11
- Michael Tyler in Year 10 who now proceeds to the Pink Kangaroo European Challenge
- Diya Banerjee in Year 9 who won 'Best in Year 9' and now proceeds to the Gold Kangaroo European Challenge
A huge well done to all the students who participated in this demanding and challenging national competition.
