Christmas Caroling with the Preparatory Choir
The Preparatory School Choir sing at Peterborough Railway Station and Cathedral Green Court
It’s been a busy week for the Preparatory School Choir. On Wednesday, we entertained the commuters to and from Peterborough Railway Station by singing carols and Christmas songs. We enjoyed filling the station with some festive spirit and noise. It was also lovely to see so parents and supporters as well. While we were singing, we received some generous donations for the School’s chosen charity this year -Afrinspire.
On Thursday, we were out again but this time it was much warmer! We sang for the residents of Cathedral Green Court, one of whom had been both a pupil and teacher at our School. Once we had finished singing, the children had the opportunity to speak to some of the residents. It was wonderful to see different generations chatting and sharing stories. Another highlight for me was when we met Pixie, one of the resident’s dog! The spirit of Christmas was certainly in the air!
