Food Technology
Food Technology is a compulsory subject in Years 7 to 9 and aims to instil a love of cooking to all pupils, offering a creative experience along with many crucial life skills.
Pupils will, by the end of Key Stage 3, be able to understand and apply the principles of nutrition and health; be competent in a range of cooking techniques and will be able to cook a repertoire of dishes so that they are able to feed themselves and others a healthy and varied diet.
Hygiene and Safety are always an important part of the weekly lesson.
