This year, the School is pleased to announce two types of Scholarships open for applications - of which you may select one to apply to. These are explained in more detail below:
Sixth Form Academic Scholarships
These are available to pupils currently attending The Peterborough School in Year 11 and candidates applying from other Schools. Those applying for Sixth Form Scholarships will be assessed by academic reference, GCSE predictions, and an interview with the Headmaster, Mr Meadows, or Mr Angus Stroud, Director of Sixth Form. Scholarships will be awarded to those pupils who demonstrate outstanding academic potential for success at A Level and beyond. The value of these Scholarships is in the range 10% to 30% fee remission, depending on demand and academic potential.
Sixth Form Anniversary Scholarships
The School recently celebrated 125 years since it was founded and in 2021 we introduced a new Anniversary Academic Scholarship to mark this occasion. The Anniversary Scholarships are offered in addition to the Academic Scholarships and include a means test, which, depending on the strength of the application and a financial assessment, may reduce fees by up to 100%, providing an opportunity for students to study in the Sixth Form who would otherwise not be able to because of affordability.
